Welcome to the world of PekuliSoap! My name is Petra, and every single bar of soap in my collection represents a personal journey towards healthy skin—guided by patience, scientific understanding, and a deep belief in the healing power of nature.

How it all began
My adventure into formulating natural cosmetics didn’t begin in a distant laboratory, but in the heart of my home, born from a genuine desire to help someone closest to me. My husband had suffered from severe atopic eczema since childhood. For years, I watched him struggle to find relief, trying conventional store-bought products that often left his sensitive skin even more irritated, dry, and stinging.
I decided I couldn’t let it stay that way. Combining my background in chemistry with a passion for nature, I began deeply studying the properties of herbs, plant oils, and traditional soap-making methods. My ultimate goal was to formulate something genuinely effective, pure, and incredibly gentle.
Soap Born from the Soul
My very first soaps were created exclusively for my family’s needs. This is how Husband’s Saviour (crafted with hemp seed oil and yoghurt) and Husband’s Favourite (made with nourishing goat’s milk) came to be. Seeing my husband’s skin finally calm down and regenerate after years of discomfort was a turning point. I realised I couldn't keep this to myself—I had to share this exceptional care with you.
Today, PekuliSoap specializes in caring for problematic, eczema-prone, and highly sensitive skin. Every bar you find here is mindfully handcrafted by me and meets the strictest British safety and quality standards.
And so Pekulisoap was born!
The Pekulisoap philosophy: Patience and integrity
You will never find shortcuts in my production process. I firmly believe that true quality takes time:
The Traditional Cold Process Method: This time-honoured technique allows me to naturally preserve the plant-based glycerine within the soap, ensuring it deeply hydrates your skin rather than stripping it.
Four-Week Curing: Each bar of soap matures in a state of undisturbed repose for at least a month. This crucial step allows the pH to stabilise perfectly, making the final bar as gentle and skin-loving as possible.
Premium Ingredients: I select only the highest quality, skin-nourishing ingredients—such as colloidal oats, kaolin clay, and exceptional oils including avocado, hemp seed, and macadamia.
